Dr. Heidi is the best vet and we can attest to this by her understanding of animals and their needs. We had a boxer who was extremely ill 5 years ago.at age 9. Millie had what is called hepatic cutaneous syndrome in which her liver gets gets inflamed and causes her skin to break out in multiple hematomas and she has loss of hair in patches to once she lost almost all her hair on her body.
She lost 50 pounds and wasn't eating. She had seen other vets and they only pumped her with antibiotics, and she wasn't responding to that.
Dr Heidi Jahn saw her and took her off all the antibiotics and we started a regimen of a canine vitamin twice daily and a raw food diet.
Millie had gotten so much better with in that year and went on to live another 4 years, was happy and energetic again. Being a Boxer breed, her life expectancy was between 8 and 10 years, Millie passed away at age 14 after developing congestive heart failure this past month. She lived a good long life.
We couldn't have had her as long as we did if it was not for the great love of animals and Dr Heidi's expertise on how to take care of an animal with use of natural diet and careful monitoring.
She is truly an inspiration to the veterinary world and many pets would have their lives cut short with out her help.
