Our easy to use online portal gives you direct access to your Pets Best customer account. This is the easiest way to submit, update, and see the status of your claims. You can also set up direct deposit to get paid directly back into your banking account.

Other ways to submit a claim

You can submit a claim through email, fax or even standard mail. You can download a blank claim form by clicking on the link below, or download a claim form with your personal information pre-filled by logging into your customer account.

You can contact us anytime about your claim. We are available over the phone Monday – Friday from 7 am - 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm, Mountain Time. We can also be reached through email, fax, or chat.

Reminders when submitting a claim

There are a few things to keep in mind when you are filing a pet insurance claim. These will ensure quick turnaround of your pet insurance claim. We also recommend asking a staff member at your veterinary hospital to help complete the diagnosis and veterinarian notes section of your claim form.

  • Observe waiting periods: During Waiting Periods no coverage is provided. Waiting periods are just 3 days for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, and routine care can be used the day after you enroll.
  • Include original paid invoices: If submitting by mail, please keep copies for your records. Please note: We cannot accept estimates or unpaid invoices as proof of payment.
  • Include proof of payment and sign your claim form: Not attaching an invoice, a proof of payment such as a credit card receipt, and signing your claim form can cause delays when we are processing your claim.
