This hospital was recommended to me by several members in my church. After a $350 bill, the vet was 99% sure my dog had cancer and gave me options on how to move forward. He also indicated that he could talk to a radiologist in regards to the x-rays so that I would feel more comfortable with the results. After being informed of the radiologist's opinion, I received a call from the receptionist saying I owed an additional $98. I declined to pay the amount because I was never told by the vet or anyone else that there would be a charge.
I am now hunting for another vet to help me while my dog slowly dies. I am unhappy that a miscommunication occurred but more disappointed in the unethical behavior of the vet. He did not agree with me but he did say that he would eat the $98 cost. All fees and cost should be discussed with patrons before charging.
