I recently rescued a small sheltie. After I got her I found out that she had polyarthritis in all of her joints. She was in so much pain and had so many other problems. Dr. Rogers worked for over a year trying to find something or someone that could help her. She even gave me her cell phone # in case I needed her. Nothing helped and she finally went into septic shock and we had to put her down. I called Dr. Rogers that morning and told her I would be in that afternoon to have her put our puppy down. When I got to the clinic, I waited in the car until it was time. When I went in Dr. Rogers had been crying all day about Abby. She had worked so hard to save her. She is now caring for my dog Sophie. She is just wonderful. I would like to see her get some of the recogonition that she deserves. She also does surgery for the animal shelter and some rescue groups free, She is so caring about her furry patients.
