I am sad to say that All Cypress Vet Clinic literally almost killed my golden retriever with medication prescriptions, then denied any wrong doing. I just can't believe it. My dog had an inflamed thorn in her paw so we took her in for an antibiotic. $660 later my wife leaves with an antibiotic and two other pain relievers. Turns out that the two pain relievers - Carprofen and Galliprant - combined will cause "extreme Gut ulcers and kidney failure, as fast as three or four days". They also tried to sell my wife on an xray and blood work, but that is separate. All of this was yesterday, May 2, 2023. I went in today to simply get a refund for the medication and the visit, since they literally almost killed my dog! The vet, Dr. Coogan, was nice and I could tell she realized that there was a screw up - cool, fine, no harm, no foul, so refund the visit cost since you almost killed my dog and let's move forward. They literally made me wait about 30 min in a room before the "office manager" came in. I certainly understand when mistakes are made. Own up to them and move on down the road. The office manager actually challenged me, saying I was "lucky" to have caught this "miss" before they did, and refused to acknowledge any culpability and actually trying to "guarantee" me that they would have caught the error eventually. Assuming they did "catch" it, even "right after" I called them, my dog would have enough of the combo of medicines to be more than halfway to the known point of possible damage to my pet's health. I just can't believe that they would deny and play down the significance of this event.
I still can't believe their behavior, and I will stand on the highest mountain to let people know that All Cypress Vet Clinic, while composed of some pretty good people, at the end of the day is not concerned at all about what's right and what's wrong. They showed their bottom line true colors today.

Everyone treats both of our dogs kindly and gently, never failing to greet then by name and pet them - both dogs actually like to go inside. Techs and Dr Tanner are gentle with any treatment required and take time to ease any anxiety Evie/Buddy experiences. Dr Tanner always explains everything I need to understand what is happening and offers options and outcomes to consider. I feel confident I can provide for the health of my beloved dogs with her knowledgeable care.

SHE REALLY CARES! Michele is a very kind, caring, and gentle person - and that shows in how she treats both her patients and their human-family. Her hospital (All Cypress Animal Hospital) is equipped with the most up-to-date technology that I have ever seen ! AND the cleanest! Also - ALL of her helpers (be they employees or volunteers) are very patient & polite (even when they are VERY BUSY & we have questions &/or are confused). Another thing that I am aware of is that she routinely meets with her employees. I believe that is almost - if not AS important as HER treatment of our furry loved ones. In addition - She/All Cypress Animal Hospital is very involved with the local community (with Bark-in-the-Park etc.). Like I said - SHE CARES!
