Our older dog had a seizure and nearly drowned in our pool. He was on oxygen at our vet all day and we were told they closed at 6 and would have to take our dog to the emergency hospital to stay overnight. We told our vet that we could not afford that and was told the other option was to put him down. Our vet knew that if our dog stayed on oxygen one more night he would probably be fine. Seeing that our only option was to put him down, our vet decided that him and the other vet would volunteer to stay overnight with our dog to keep him on oxygen at their clinic. Our dog ended up having another seizure shortly after the closed and his stopped and he passed, but the fact that our vets were willing to stay overnight to help our was great!!! Just weeks before we had to put one of our other dogs down and the vets were great!! Dr. Purser even made a donation in our dogs names to an organization!!! My vets are the best and I am so grateful for all they did for us and our dogs!! Attached is a picture of Buckley and Lucy; the two dogs we most recently lost.
