Dr Rouchon in the 3 years that I have had Tallee has been nothing but thorough, kind and caring for my resue shy doberman. She has gone from being dragged into the clinic to wagging her tail in excitment to go. The technicians all love on her and all the pets as if they were all their own pets. As a new pet owner Dr Rouchon took the time to address my concerns and fears in a such a caring manner that I didn't feel belittled or patronized for my stupid questions. I think that some human doctors could learn a lot for Dr Rouchon and his staff on patient care. I am sometimes jealous of the loving care that is provided to my pet that I do not always receive for my appointments. To take an abused shy dog who was afraid of everything and now have her happy and healthy and excited to go to the vet is a testiment to quality care and love that Dr Rouchon and his staff exude to every one of their patients.

Zeus was brought in by a client and hadn't eaten for days, lethargic, etc. Dr. Capps diagnosed him with bloat. The clients decided they couldn't afford the surgery or risk him not surviving the surgery and opted for euthanasia instead. Dr. Capps called them back and asked them to surrender Zeus to the clinic and let her attempt the surgery, but give up all rights to him if he survived. They agreed. Over lunch that day, Dr. Capps and 2 technicians stayed and took on surgery. Zeus made it through surgery and was doing great. After a couple months of being nurtured back to health, Zeus has gained 30 lbs and has found a loving home in Fort Worth. He truly is one of the most amazing German Shepherds we have ever met, and if it wasn't for Dr. Capps, he wouldn't have had a chance at life. She truly is an exceptional vet with the biggest heart I have ever seen.

Our Isadora (Izzie) has been going to see Dr. Capps since she was 6 months old. Izzie would bring her leash to me when I would tell her we were going to see Dr. Capps. Dr. Capps treats every patient like her own animals and they know she loves them. When Izzie was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor Dr Capps was honest with us about the expense but she truly thought Izzie would have quality years left if she survived the surgury. Izzie cam through the actual surgury well but but her lungs never did start working again. Dr. Capps treated Izzie with much love and respect even after death. She allowed us to hold Izzie and say our goodbys and cried with us. It has been almost 2 years and Dr. Capps still has Izzies picture on her wall. We now have a rescue and of course Dr. Capps was thrilled that we adoped another fur baby. Telling Piper our new baby that she had "some big paws to fill." We know Piper will love Dr. Capps just as much as Izzie. The love she has for all animals shows in the way she handles her patients.

Dr. Capps isn't just my litte one's Veterinarian, I consider her a trusted friend. Dr. Capp's truly cares for all her patients and it shows in her demeanor. She loves to play with the day care boarders on her break and will come out to the waiting area to give a furry friend or human a hug! Dr. Capps communication is honest sprinkled with a lot of kindness. Recently I started talking to a stranger at a local pet store and she asked me the name of my Veterinarian. When I told her Dr. Capps her face lit up and she shared a story of how Dr. Capps took care of her furry friend during his last days. Although it was so sad to lose her friend, she told me how she never forgot Dr. Capps and her kindness. I love my Squeekers and it is so good to know that she is in expert hands and kind hands with Dr. Capps. I would like to nominate this wonderful lady as the best Vet I ever met.
