Dr. Stehouwer and the entire staff of Parkwood Animal Hospital are the absolute best with it comes to caring for your pets. They treat everyone's pets as if they were their own. Dr. Stehouwer began treating my dog Duke when she worked at another clinic. Right away I could tell she really cared about the animals. When she left that clinic I dreaded taking Duke to the vet. When I found out she was opening her own clinic I switched vets and started going to Parkwood the day they opened. Parkwood offers boarding and they are the only ones I trust with Duke. He loves staying there. He is treated so well and spoiled while he is there. All the technicians that work there have pet names for Duke and love on him every I take him in. Duke is 14 and has started having health problems. Duke recently had an issue with tumors in his rectum. Dr. Stehouwer went through all my options for his course of treatment. She was completely honest with me allowing me to make the best decision for Duke's treatment. Duke is now dealing with arthritis in his back legs and again, they have given me all options to allow me to make the best decision for Duke's treatment. I will not trust Duke's care to anyone else.
