She is very careful to explain everything about what she finds on an exam. Bloodtests are explained right in front of me, the xrays are shown and explained. She comes back to the clinic at night to check on any animal she has operated on that day if it had to stay. She didn't even charge us for putting our dog to sleep after caring for it for the final six months of her life. She won't sell products that have been shown to cause problems in dogs. She listens to the concerns of the owners and answers them. If she doesn't know something for sure, she will call a specialist and find out. She even gave us her home and cell number in case we had an important question if she wasn't at the clinic. She is loving and caring. Who,could ask for more?

We adopted a very healthy European Doberman and I wanted to be proactive in maintaining his health for longevity and ongoing quality of life. Dr. Ballard was the only vet within a 50 mile radius that offered this. She marries traditional Western Medicine with Chinese and Homeopathic and acupuncture treatments. Rhett will be 6 in April and has been on various herbs and a Chinese way of diet since he was a 7 month old puppy.
