My dog has had 4 vets in his 10 years of annual check ups. Dr. Wright is the best since she looks at the dog clinically AND behaviorally. She knows so much about all the breeds and understands and loves each animal who arrives in her door. She provides free behavioral advice/resources and ALWAYS puts the pets first rather than the money. When my adult daughter living in another state was having issues with her cat clawing up furniture and woodwork.... I felt comfortable calling Dr. Wright to receive her advice on whether declawing for a 2 year old was a good thing. She took her time, advised it not to be good and recommended the claw caps and offered to help her put them on if she had difficulty. How I came to her was when another vet whom my dog had been to a few times turned us away from the annual check up telling me I needed to provide him valium. I was upset because they should have known that he needed sedation based on records and wasted a day off. I ran to check in with Dr. Wright who I had driven by a few times and she immediately took time to investigate options on the spot.. Every animal owner I see come into her shop has such a similar story . She deserves monetary compensation for her commitment to the animals good health and good home life conditions. As I watch her work with Kosmo's Vet anxiety i can see Dr. Wright's has enormous amount of patience and knowledge. Unlike some of the vets who are just CAT vets or small animal.. she is ready and willing

Dr. Tarwater is very gentle with my pets. He doesn’t rush through the exams and is great about answering all of my questions. He explains all the options and does his best to keep the costs down.I brought my 13 year old dog, Rascal, in with a mass on him and Dr. Tarwater extracted a sample. He explained that while he could not see everything that a regular lab could, it would be much less expensive if he could determine what it was by looking at the sample under his own microscope. He could tell that is was just a benign, fatty mass. I am grateful that Dr Tarwater had the skill to view the sample, save me money by not sending the sample off to a lab and that I got a diagnosis immediately. On another occasion, I noticed that one of my cats had worms and was worried that my other pets might have them as well. He tested Rascal and found that he was positive for worms. I was then able to get medicine for all four pets with only having to pay for one exam and test. My 15 year old dog, Blackie had an ear hematoma. Dr. Tarwater understood that I was more afraid of putting Blackie under anesthesia to drain and repair the earflap than the appearance of her ear. He suggested that we let it heal on its own with antibiotics to prevent an infection.
