AVDH has been caring for my furbabies for over 20 years now - they are a long drive out for me - but everytime I experiment with someone closer to me - it's always a disappointment. The vets and the staff at AVDH are first rate and very caring - and if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having something really go wrong with your baby - they have the diagnostic equipment and in-house labs to get diagnostic results ASAP and start the business of healing right away - not next week. I first went to them when they were 1 of only 2 places in Austin that could provide chemo therapy when my Golden had lymphoma. The care and love received during that difficult time and ever since has yet to be duplicated.

Dr. Donup never gives up, he will find the answers and will hold your hand to help to do anything. Calls u to update thru everything. Includes u in your pets care. Call him anytime, He always calls u back. Will meet u after hours. He makes special trips to your house to see after your dog. He is the most careing and gentle plus smart, smart person I know. I have wished he could have done my surgeries with his follow up care, he is better then all of my human docs. He held me, listened, adn cried as I had to make the decions to put one of love of my life to sleep. I am honored to have him in my pets life. His staff is A plus they are like family. Been with him over 10 yrs and will never leave. I wish I could honor him for his wonderful care and love hi gives to me and my animals. He is the best. I am so grateful to have him and his staff there for me.
