After taking my dogs here for years I took my newly adopted dog for her annual and asked about a spot on her leg. She was given antibiotics and we were sent on our way. 4 weeks later the spot had spread to her entire lower spine down. Crusty skin and losing hair, I took her back. They suggested maybe allergies and she got a shot of steroids and antibiotics which made redness go away for a bit but she got worse within 2 weeks so I took her back. They said they never had seen anything like that before amd commented it looked like a bad sunburn, over and over. and prescribed prednisone. I took her back when it was not working and she was getting even WORSE. And I was given the same run around, didn't touch her, didn't run tests, didn't even TRY, just said oh wow it looks like a sunburn. They gave us more prednisone even tho I said I still had some AND it wasn't working. I ended up taking her to another vet who immediately ran blood tests and 2 types of skin tests that showed yeast and bacteria and she was given different medications amd then 2 weeks later biopsies were done to show she had an aggressive cancer. Alvin vet failed my dog. And I do not recommend this place unless you want shots and that's it bc that's ALL THEY'LL DO FOR YOU. Her new vet had her diagnosed within 2.5 weeks and this place didn't even try from Jan to the end of May. Insane to do that to any animal and long time clients. So negligent! Now they are removing my reviews and trying to silence me and not once have they tried to take any accountability for their non action regarding my dog. I made the mistake of trusting them and wasting precious time I could have used to treat my dog.
