Dr. Jan O'Connor is one of three vets in the Morristown Animal Hospital. Dr. O'Connor treats my Bulldog, Harrison. He knows the problems that bullies have with their breathing, skin and ear infections. He also treats my horses. Most vets will listen half heartedly when you tell them what's going on with the animal. Dr. O'Connor gives his full attention and never rushes you out the door. I have seen a lot of vets that are book learners and not much experience in hands on work. My animals are always at ease with Dr. O'Connor. He talks to them when he is doing treatments taking some of the fear out of them. He will give you options if you can't afford a certain medication without putting the animal's health at risk. He shows genuine concern for the animal and the client as well. Depending on the situation, the staff has always managed to squeeze us in for an appointment. It is hard finding a reliable veterinarian who is compassionate as well as knowledgeable in treatment. I am glad that I found one in Dr. O'Connor.
