After having an unpleasant experience at my previous vet in East Nashville, I was eager to find a vet who cared about my girl and didn't see her as a dollar sign. The moment I walked into Root we were warmly welcomed and the clinic gave me the small-town feel I had been desiring. However, my favorite part was meeting Dr. Mason and immediately feeling confident in his services. He stated within the first 5 minutes of meeting him, I do NOT want to lead with medication and/or overmedicate since she is still a puppy. Let's build up her immune system (she has allergies). I was SO IMMEDIATELY GRATEFUL. That is always what I was looking for in a vet and I was so thankful we shared the same sentiment. After coming from a vet who was trying to over-medicate, a perfectly healthy and normal dog, every time I was there. Couldn't be happier about the change - THANK YOU, ROOT!!!
