My dogs love both Dr. Trish and Dr. Cameron. They are truly great people and great vets. They helped us tremendously when we got our dogs, both with socialization, and when our dog had an unexpected pregnancy. Having Northern Breeds they helped educate us on what to expect and helped socialize are puppies. Even though they are not specialists in reproduction they were able to give us the support we needed. They have been helpful with resolving anxiety with one dog through natural remedies. They don't just throw medicine at illnesses unless absolutely necessary but provide holistic approaches and food supplements to resolve problems. They provide educational materials to help us make proper decisions to help our animals. The entire staff is amazing and are great people. We have also shared dog stories and have gotten to know them on a more personal level. My dogs love to run in and give the staff kisses when they first come in the door.

Saving Delilah: It was love at first bark. We visited the animal shelter in 2007. I already had 3 dogs so I was safe, or so I thought, from the lure of my favorite breed: rescue. I picked up a 6 week old puppy. The second I held her I knew she was coming home. She became one of the best dogs that ever owned me. This past November she became paralyzed. I thought we would have to put her down. I prepared my heart for it. Dr. Sammons initially thought so too. However, she wanted to run some tests in consultation with the surgeon. She knew how much we loved and cared for all of our 5 dogs. (I rescued and fostered). They discovered a couple of herniated discs in her neck. Both Dr. Sammons and Dr. Newman thought the "kid" as they called her deserved a chance. Although it costs more than we had we thought she did too. They removed the discs and I took her home. She couldn't walk for a few days. I wondered if I had done the right thing. Two days later she walked! I sent the video to both of them...I think I made them cry. THank you Dr. Sammons for loving and believing in Delilah and in us. Love never fails. Dr. Sammons is the best! (and so is Dr. Newman :)
