Dr. Black has been there for me through so many fur babies. My dog Romeo (BEST DOG EVER!) whom I lost in September 2011, she called him her boyfriend. She truly grieved with me. Also, because my three cats are very afraid of her office and car rides, she comes to my house to give them their checkups and shots. Dr. Black owns the practice and has a great staff, but I wouldn't bring my babies to see anyone else besides her! Also, I volunteer with a local farm animal rescue, and she has been very supportive of that. She has donated auction items for our fundraisers, and she has attended these fundraisers herself. She even paid for her entire staff to come to our "barn" for a private tour. She has taken what was a small, community, somewhat rural, vet's office and grown it into a beautiful building and staff serving a large area in the west part of Greater Knoxville. The additions she has made to the building and the signage are beautiful and do nothing but add to the natural beauty of the rolling hills of East Tennessee. Every Christmas, Dr. Black invites all of her clients to the office for a Christmas party, loaded with food and drinks. Not only is she a great vet and addition to the community, but she is a kind and loving person, both to all animals and all people. I just love her!

Eastview Veterinary clinic is a family oriented clinic where you see the same vet each time for your pet. I left a previous clinic in town due to my dog becoming more fearful of even entering clinic. Entering Eastview for the first time, Reggie was so excited, running as quick as he could, ears flapping in the wind. At the desk Reggie was not clinging to my leg or even whining, he was sitting by me as he does at home. I knew this was the place for us to go on day one. Dr. Bowman is the most kind, caring, and compassionate individual doing what she loves, working with animals. Reggie just adores her, giving her kisses not realizing he's at the vet to get his temperature taken due to illness. Dr. Bowman even called after hours to ask how Reggie was doing, which real meant a lot to me. We have seen her each time we have gone to the vet and Reggie's reaction is the same, he truly feels at home.

Besides helping me to not freak out with learning one 14 year old dog has congestive heart failure, another 4 year old dog has full blown epileptic grandmal cluster seizures; while I am living with Menieres disease and many other health issues. Dr. David has my kids so in love with him they drag me into the vet office to get to go 'see' him. If one dog comes home smelling of the vets the others are all over it smelling where Dr David examined it and they look at me as if "hey, I didn't get to go see him!"It is hard watching my old girl fade and Dr David will be there when it's time, meanwhile, I know I can ask anything and he will do his best to come up with the answer that is best and within my limited means, my fur kids are all I have, they truly have kept me sane through my own trials, I know in my heart the reason they are in such a happy state of mind is the love they receive when the 'get' to go see their friend. We don't know how much more time I will have with my old girl Shekinah, but I do know Dr. David will cry as much as I will when it's time to let her go. Until then, we are in the best hands of care there ever could be. I am truly blessed to have found such an awesome vet and staff!

Dr. Martin has been my vet for over 30 yrs. He makes housecalls or goes out of his way to meet you closer to home. I have never had a dog that did not want to walk right into the hospital, they simply are not afraid. And the detail he explains if surgery is necessary, even showing pictures! I have to drive 80 miles round trip to take all my dogs now and in the past to him . And a very gentlemanly man.

Noel is very loving and compassionate. She also gets down on the floor and plays every visit! That speaks volumns and really help my dogs relax!!!
