She’s really great with both my dogs. She explains everything in a very easy to understand way and knows a lot about both breeds. She also uses treats and distractions to help give shots without either of then noticing.

Dr. Hood is the most caring, empathetic doctor I have ever met ... if only I could find a human equivalent for myself and my family! We moved from PA to SC and I needed to find a new vet for my senior dog. Dr. Hood made me feel like my dog was a top priority, took excellent care, and I have no doubt that if not for Dr. Hood, my "pup" of 16.5 years would no longer be with us. She suspected something (with little to no symptoms), confirmed with tests and because of that I still have my dog. She is very kind and responsive ever time I call with a question or issue. I started here as I was new to the area and their practice overall was so nice and willing to take us on as patients with ease ... after getting to know the area better, there are several vets closer to my home, but I gladly pass all of them by to go to this practice and see Dr. Hood.

These wonderful veterinarians took care of Gracie as if she were their own. Even during COVID, they kept me informed on what was going on every step of the way. Even though, she is not the most pleasant when visiting them, they took every measure to make sure she was comfortable and improving. She went in very sick and lethargic, and when she returned to me, she was an entirely different cat. I have never trusted a veterinarian office as much as I do as Dutch Fork. From the front office staff to the vet techs to the veterinarians, Gracie always receives the best care. I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else. Thank you Dutch Fork and all the wonderful people who consistently take such great care of my baby!
These past two days that she was hospitalized, were stressful and overwhelming to not just her, but me. Knowing the great care she was receiving, made this experience not so overwhelming or stressful. I can’t thank Dr. Johnson enough for all the care she has given Gracie from the first day I brought her in to now!
