I've been going to Greentree Animal Clinic since my Sadie was a puppy and definitely think it's one of the best vets in the South Hills / Pittsburgh area. I have no complaints!

Dr Brown was mentored by a veteran vet who recognized that pet parents and pets are in sync with each other. Dr Brown believes this - actually listens to pet parents - observes my pets - and is honest with me in coming to his diagnosis. A former pet I had was a feral cat. Her name was Molly - and for the first visit - he had no idea how she would respond to him. He looked at her - did pheromones - waited her out and did a full exam including a recital temp - without a fuss from a wild cat - his diagnoses are accurate. He is professional and compassionate - and if unsure - he seeks more information from me - testing - observation and colleagues. He goes the extra mile - one of my cockers had to be euthanized - he actually put a Steelers towel under her to comfort me as well as Ginger - he knows animals as well as their owners - knowledgeable and professional and has a heart. Rosie and Lily are number 5 and six pets I have taken to him. Thank you Dr Brown. The clinic is available to me and my pets and will facilitate this referral as well as future ones - Respectfully submitted pat hannan

You always want someone to treat your pet the way you treat him or her, like your child. This is particularly important to me and my husband with our 132 lb. Rottweiler, Capone. People have the preset perception of the Rottweiler breed; people have the tendency to they think they are vicious and dangerous. However, Capone is great with our kids (9 and 12), as well as the neighborhood children (various ages 4 through 18). Rottweilers are loyal, loving, and protective gentle giants. Dr. Tierney Kelly is one who treats her animal patients as if they were her own and with respect. Her gentle hands and caring tone when examining Capone is extraordinary – every time! The same hand and tone is used on our Siberian Husky as well, Sky. However, Capone is special! Our Rottweiler is only 4 years young with a vivacious personality and tension span as big as a guppy gold fish! However, when he is being examined by Dr. Kelly, her soothing voice she uses when talking to him, while explaining things to me and my husband, makes the visit to the vet an enjoyable experience for everyone.
