My whippet was diagnosed with dermal hermangiosarcoma. I was so devastated with this diagnosis. Dr. Cannon was amazing. First of all my whippet, Rudy does not like being at the vets office. When we went in for our appointment I was riddled with anxiety over by boy, Rudy. I know he felt my nervousness over his condition. Was he eventually going die over this skin cancer? I really didn't know for sure, as I had a whippet in the past die from internal hermangiosarcoma. When she came in it was instant love between my Rudy boy and Dr. Cannon. She was an angel for both of us. Rudy immediately took to her. She was so kind and gentle. She explained everything in such a way that was so understandable. I felt like I had just made a new friend, and I know Rudy felt they same way. I have never seen Rudy so calm and laid back at a veterinarians office. People put off an energy, everyone you meet does. Dr. Cannons energy is that of love, healing, kindness and genuine care for all the animals she treats. She is an amazing animal dermatologist and came highly recommended to me by various other veterinarians and other dog owners. Dr. Cannon deserves this award! Please consider Dr. Cannon for this honor. She is a kind healer and deserves it! Thank you.

Dr. Bastek has been with my family for 20 years. When I was in college, and brought my sick cat to her, she brought her home to her house and administered medicine and fluids to her throughout the night, saving her life! Today, she cares for my 9 year old Australian Cattle dog with such compassion and caring, it's as if she is caring for her own pet. She listens to my concerns and strives to have my precious dog remain healthy and happy, without overvaccinating her, or suggesting unnecessary tests, exams, or medications. She helped our family move to Africa with our dog, doing all the necessary paperwork and tests that were needed to travel overseas with a dog. She even stayed in touch with us via email while we were in Africa, and helped us to deal with our dog's extreme anxiety over thunderstorms, which happened daily. If Dr. Bastek were a doctor for people, I would surely take my entire family to her. I will truly mourn the day that she retires, as I feel I will never find someone as dedicated to the care and wellbeing of animals as she issomeone who I literally will put the life of my animal into her trusting, capable hands.

We have been going to Lesli for over 8 years. She always has a smile on her face and doesn't mind when we have a million questions. She remembers our dogs, us, and our children despite seeing us once or twice per year. A few years ago I had to put my cat to sleep. He was Very old and his health was rapidly declining. Lesli and her office staff were so gentle and sympathetic to my situation. They really helped me through the difficult time. Lesli is extremely gentle, loving, and patient with my dogs who are both very shy. She takes her time and allows them to get comfortable with her before she does anything. They love her because she always has treats. Lesli surrounds herself with staff members who are just as caring and understanding as she is. If she is unavailable, we are glad to see any of the other vets because they are all awesome. The office has a great atmosphere and helps people and pets stay as calm as possible. My vet is the best because they always put 100 percent into everything they do and their priorities are to make both pet and pet owner comfortable during their visit.

Stonecreek Animal Hospital is the BEST Veterinarian I have ever been. The Dr's are amazing. They are extremely friendly, knowledgable, caring and most of all very honest. Always greated as soon as we walk in the door. Everyone is so pleasant and are very helpful. Never a long wait and always make sure i get my questions answered. They are really good at explaining things to me. But they are really great with my little (or not so little) furbaby Mila. She doesnt seem to be bothered by them at all whic is shocking cause shes a scaredy cat. I think they even gave her a nickname of batcat cause of her marking around her eyes. I love it. I dont live near them at all and have many others along the way but I got a good first impression so I continued going. They treated us in a great way why not.

Dr. Christensen truly loves all animals. When Reyna was 5 years old, she suffered from a ruptured disc. Dr. Christensen insisted that she would recover when I had considered putting her down. He offered to take her to his home while we waited for the surgery. Sure enough, after surgery she recovered and today is a thriving 9 year old. I could go on and on about Dr. Christensen. I have referred many friends to him and all love him as much as I do.

Dr. Peterson helped Smoke through his ruptured disc problem without surgery. I didn't hesitate to take my new addition, Charlie the cat, to him. He will spend the time answering question. His staff is attentive to the needs of his patients and their owners. I am so glad I found him. I am thinking of getting another cat and without a doubt it will become a patient of Dr. Peterson's.

I have twice had to take a dog in for an emergency on weekends. Both times, Heidi was quick to respond, willing to research and try all kinds of solutions, referred me when necessary, helped make arrangements... And through it all she would check in on me to make sure I was doing ok as well as my dog. When I had my first experience having to put one of my dogs down, she was beyond kind and understanding. She and her staff made me feel like Chobe was part of their family too. I really don't think I could have gotten through that time without Heidi's comfort, advice (and honesty), and help. Her phone calls and hugs made a world of difference during an incredibly difficult time!

My story starts in 2000 when my oldest son brought us a little skinny dog named Colby. He was a rat terrier mix who was very shy but smart. We lived in Sellersburg at the time and ofcourse needed a vet to check him out. Carepets was the closets so we took him there. That is were we met Dr. Evinger. To make the story short, she took care of him for 12 years untill we had to do the hardest thing I think I have ever done. He had kidney failure at 13. So we all came together all the kids and grandkids to say good bye. Both grandkids came home from the hospital to Colby. He loved to protect them so he tnought he was doing, when they came to visit. The clinic was so sweet and just as sad as we were since they new him so well. He always stayed there when we traveled and was groomed there so he was there frequently. He always got to see uncle Todd as well whom he loved. They have a room for you to spend the last few hours with them. It was peaceful even though it was sad. I now have Buster who I adopted almost 3 years ago and he is now under their care too. Would not of thought a minute about going anywere else for him. I have made the story short for submitting purpose but Buster is a special dog since I lost my husband to cancer last year. Lets just say he is a blessing and my husband did get go spend a year with him since he had not been diagnosed with cancer when he came into our lives and I am glad I have Dr. Evinger to take care of him. After Rocky's second TPLO surgery preformed by Scott, he was nervous and scared at the vet's office. Having a long and good relationship with Rocky, Scott takes the extra time to make Rocky comfortable so he can examine him without having to use a muzzle, restraints or drugs. Scott is an amazing and knowledgable vetrenarian who treats my dogs like they are his own family.

Everyone at Sterner's is so kind, compassionate and loving. We have had several of our pets taken care of by these wonderful people and they have always shown caring and compassion no matter what the situation.T hey are so excited when we bring Romulus in because they knew him from the humane society before we adopted him. They love to play with him and and they are so happy that he has found a loving home and is doing so well and getting so big. I would not take my babies to any other clinic. Dr. Buggia has been my vet for over 30 years. I began going to his office when it was next to his house, which now has expanded to excellent facility and acquired a wonderful staff. Over those years, I brought him 9 feline and 11 canine children. He has always accommodated my tight financial budget for the best preventative medicine and gave me stern but gentle advice, helped me through my final losses with kind guidance. We as a community love Dr. Buggia who is now semi retired because his love for our pets keeps him coming back and we are truly grateful. His staff is wonderful and accommodating also but there is only one Dr. Buggia. When he does decide to permanently retire, I will miss him terribly but also wish him well for all the trials and tribulations he helped me through. He gave to the whole community the same service, he did not discriminate. I'm know his staff is just as fond of him as we are. He is a great asset, doctor, boss and most importantly....great friend.

We had to put two dogs down because of illness, both times it was on her days off but she took the time to meet with us and and take of them and cried along side us. approx. two weeks after putting our 2nd dog down she called me to let me know that she had to know for herself that the right decision made so she ran another test to confirm that our dog had advanced stage cancer and the right decision was made she just wanted us to know that everything that could have been was, and we made the right choice. she always takes the extra beyond what is expected.

I have been going to Dr. Ghitea for many many years. He was very good and gentle with my first dog who was elderly. I always felt at ease when Pasha was in his hands. He is wonderful and loving with my current dog Toby. It's because of his wonderful remarks regarding my caring for my dogs that I was able to adopt Toby. Dr. Ghitea is very compassionate and honest. He is very gentle and wants only what is best for our pets. I'm glad he is young and happy in his practice because I would hate to have to find another vet who is as perfect as he is.

Dr. Shoemaker is the kindest most caring vet we've ever had. She doesn't mind how many questions I have, or how many times I call with questions! She is always patient and loving toward both of us. She deserves any and all awards she gets and then some. Scrappy is now 14, and has health issues, and she makes us feel as though he's the only patient she has. When my dog was attacked by a dog the neighbors were dogsitting, I had no hope. I was out of town and rushed in to see my dog. The pet ER said he wouldn't have much left. Then, someone referred me to Dr. Zerkel who not only saved his life, but brought him back to the trusting dog he was! The total tag would have been over $6k, but she understood we had low incomes, and she was able to help reduce the bill to $3k! She saved my dog, gave us food, and always makes me feel welcomed. I don't have a photo of how maciated my dog was, and how Dr. Zerkel not only saved my pet, but she did it without me having to decide whether or not to pay the power bill to save my lifelong companion. I have never seen so much compassion in a regular doctor, so it was unexpected from her. I will forever be grateful for her help!

Dr. Moan is a very smart, engaged, friendly, doctor. He takes the time to get to know you and your pet. He will call you personally and spend time as well as being available personally for questions. Since he has taken over Alpine the quality of customer service has improved significantly and they were good before. Dan Mones is the most attentive, knowledgable, caring vet I have ever encountered. He spends as much time as you need with him explaining all of our animals care and needs. He does not hesitate to refer out if need or offer a more economical solution. He personally calls to check up on animals even if it is well past office hours. When we moved to Arizona, it was easy to find a vet...BUT when he needed knee surgery, that was everything but easy. Dr. Prevatt explained everything to us and the way he handled Rufus was so wonderful that we decided to keep him as his regular vet. 2 years later, Rufus had surgery on the other knee and we had no doubt it would also be a success. Rufus just loves him. The way Dr. Prevatt cares for Rufus and the way Rufus reciprocates makes me feel comfortable and happy; knowing that my 9 year old golden retriever "baby" is in excellent hands and is truly cared for is priceless.

He is the most caring person. Dogs usually don't like the vets office but he made his office inviting. Everyone is friendly. Toby has no fear in his office. Dr. Art is very attuned to Toby's needs. He is very gentle and patient with both Toby and my neurotic ways. Toby trusts and allows Dr. Art to take care of him and make a healthy pup. I have recommended Dr. Art to many of my friends.
