Dr. Smith has been our vet for almost 20 years. All of my animals have loved her. When I lost my first baby Penny, Dr Smith sent me flowers and donated to a pet organization in my Penny's name. Through the years Dr. Smith has called me numerous times just checking on my babies. She has given me her home phone number to call anytime I have an emergency and has even come in on her day off once when we were in crisis. Dr. Smith has stayed with me each time I've had to put my babies to sleep. She always sends a card, donation or flowers. Not just the first time, every time. Her staff is top notch as well as her partner and husband Dr. Hilmer. Dr. Smith has always cared for my babies but she has also spend hours talking to me and supporting the decisions I have made for my pets. Years ago I moved across town and people have always thought I was nuts to drive so far to see her. My reply to them has always been, "There is truly no better vet than Darcy Smith." I can only hope she lives and practices a very very long time.
