Dr. Engler was supported by her whole team in giving compassionate and timely care when I brought my puppy in for emergency care after ingesting a toxin. Dr. Engler quickly diagnosed the probable toxin, and monitored my puppy until she was safe to be discharged. Dr. Engler focused on how to help my pup recover at home, and even suggested playing music from a playlist called “Though a Dog’s Ear” to help speed recovery. The level of care and communication from her team was above and beyond.

I may be a little biased, since I work at DoveLewis (on the business and programs side), but my cat-babies have been emergency patients here several times. I was inspired to apply for work at this hospital after the team helped me nurse my first cat through the aftermath of lily ingestion and renal failure. After a year, they were there when I needed to say goodbye to my old friend, and they've been there for my new kittens, too. Most recently, Dr. Doolan helped induce vomiting after my Loowit ate a 10-inch plastic strap off a new dress in the middle of the night. DoveLewis is a non-profit and has donor-funded aid programs for the treatment of wildlife
