Dr Lord was incredibly patient and kind w my new adopted dog . My pup was a little nervous and uncertain of being at the vet and Dr Lord made it fun for her ! By the end of the exam my dog tried to follow her out of the exam room! She made it a stress free experience and Beatrice
And I really appreciated the extra attention she gave us . If you are in the Portland area , go see Dr Lord and Buckman Veterinary Hospital!

Not only Dr. Burges, but everyone at the Buckman clinic is amazing! They genuinely seem proud to be employed at their clinic, and never make you feel rushed as you tell them countless stories about your silly companions. In the room, they take the time to make sure they understand what issues, and symptoms your pets are facing.
In addition, the entire staff carries a non-fear-based approach. They do not believe in motivating your animal through anger just because it's easy but instead focus on building trust, and safety for your pet. The staff also highly encourages its patients to visit them on days they do not have an appointment, so your little ones won't always assume the worst when they arrive. Something I have never had a vet's office ask me to do. I cannot wait to return, you all are amazing!
