Dr. Barnhizer is by far the most compassionate professional that I have had the pleasure of calling "my vet". During my previous American Staffordshire Terrier's (Jasmine, a rescue dog) many heath issues, Dr. Barnhizer provided the utmost ethical support and guidance in providing me with options for my pet while always being considerate of my means and the animal's best interest. I never left an appointment feeling that I had been taken advantage of, exploited, or uninformed of my options. Through the end of Jasmine's life, I felt confident in knowing that she was receiving the best of care and felt an honest compassion from Dr. Barnhizer and her entire staff.I now have an English Bulldog (Daisy) who is 6 months old and sees Dr. Barnhizer and her staff. This is my first true puppy, and Dr. Barnhizer has provided me with the understanding of her breed's needs, helpful tips, and foresight of veterinary care to expect throughout Daisy's life. I truly feel that Dr. Barnhizer goes above and beyond for clients. Her work conveys a sincere passion for both her human and animal clients. When you have an appointment with her you genuinely feel that it is more than just a career for her - it is a calling that was fortunately answered. I only wish I had a greater allotment of words to continue singing her praises.

I went to a few vets in our area before I decided to go to Uniontown Vet. The care and concern that they give each pet is great! They take their time and talk to each "pet" as if they were their own. I love how they explain everything to you in detail in laymen language.They do not rush you. The care and genuine concern is 100% there!!!!
