This is an old story, but telling. Dr Miller had been our veterinarian for a number of years, when while clearing trees one day, Mr Beau ran out and into the path of a falling tree. It struck MrBeau dead center of his back, luckily he was in a small depression in the ground, but he could not walk and was in great pain. I picked him up (100lb Boxer) and ran to the car yelling for my wife to call Dr Jerry at home, asap. Jerry met us at his clinic and immediately went to work X-raying. MrBeau's back was not broken, but Dr Jerry kept him, keeping us informed twice a day every day even Sunday, even though we stopped in each day. Those in his office, using a sling walked MrBeau twice a day to exercise him and for his constitution. After a week to 10 days MrBeau started trying to walk slowly coming back. Mr Beau had virtually 24x7 care by Dr Jerry Miller and his staff, with Dr Jerry Miller personally making sure Mr Beau was coming back to his old self. Dr Miller went way beyond what is usual, he cared for MrBeau as it was not about the money. Now 12 years later, Mr Beau is no longer with us, but Dr Jerry Miller continues to be our veterinarian and has given as much care and love to each of our dogs as he did with MrBeau.
