i'm nominatin my vet beoz he takes all the time necessary to discuss my pets needs he takes excellent care of my fur babies and hes very carin bout them he gives them the meds they need and discusses them thoroughly with me so i understand how 2 administer them..

I like Northgate animal hospital because when I had to put my older dog down they gave me as much time as I needed to stay with him. They are very sympathetic . And they are very good with my other dog's

Dr. Kas has been treating my pets since I came to him with Somebody in 1998 in the middle of December. She was dying of acute renal failure. But 1998 was such a horrible year for me having lost my mother and her sister (my aunt), the collapse of my marriage and loss of my home that I was incapable of accepting or dealing with the loss of my beautiful 18 year old companion, and I just told him that she was fine and to make her well enough to come home. Three days later I was whisking her out of his office in my arms with subqs, special foods, and medicine. I will never forget Dr. Kas just watching us from the doorway. He said "THIS was the right decision." And actually had tears in his eyes. Somebody died with me on Christmas Eve. It was then that I realized the enormity of the gift that Dr. Kas had given me. Somebody was indeed dying and he knew it but put my welfare up there, too, and decided that we needed to be together and this had to be done on our own time, I guess. Dr. Kas has been our trusted vet since and has treated a long line of our companion animals. He is such a kind, caring and gentle soul that I only wish I could somehow express my gratitude and return that gift that he gave me so many years ago.
