Dr. V is hands-down the best vet I have ever taken my animals to. I’ve been going to him for the past four or five years and he’s the absolute greatest vet I’ve ever met in my life very passionate, very affectionate, very thorough with his clients as well as his staff is amazing and once he found out that I came all the way from Brooklyn to Staten Island, he gave me even more of a discount

Dr. V and his staff are amazing. They treat your pets like they are their own. Affectionate, patient and thorough, Dr. V educates the 'parents' with diagrams, explanations and humor. He has been our vet for over 25 years and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. Our mini doxie herniated 5 discs at one time when she was 12 years old. She was already losing her hearing and vision and now she was paralyzed from the neck down on one side but Dr.V knew how much we loved her. He sent us to the best specialist and kept in regular contact with us, getting post op status reports from us and the surgeon and providing support. She did beautifully but, two years later, she is almost completely blind and began to lose her appetite. Dr. V did blood work and found nothing wrong. His advice, "Mommy, she is old and has been there for you. Let her eat whatever she wants. Cook her favorites and give her treats. She has earned it." this man not only knows his medicine, he knows his patients and their 'parents', understands how much we love them and does everything he can to be there when we need him.
