Our dog, Callum is a one year old Scottish Deerhound puppy and he just adores Dr. Renee Wilcox as well as all of her wonderful staff! And it is obvious that they really love him in return! Dr. Wilcox always spends ample time with Callum and we never feel rushed, no matter how many questions we may have for her! Not only is Dr. Wilcox brilliant when it comes to her profession, she is actually more like a walking, talking encyclopedia of veterinary knowledge! The fact that Callum is still a puppy, we have only been clients of Dr. Wilcox for a year or so and we have come to really rely on her for top notch veterinary care that is second to none! She has been absolutely fantastic and very helpful with all of the many little things that are so important in the early life stages of a Giant Breed dog. The care that she provides our beloved Callum is always thorough and compassionate, and we really do look forward to our visits with her! Dr. Wilcox also explains things very well and we trust her opinion implicitly! The only thing we regret is that being a Veterinarian she only treats dogs, cats and other critters! Otherwise, we would love to be patients of hers as well!
So please consider Dr. Renee Wilcox of Countryside Animal Hospital in Staatsburg, New York as a strong and most deserving candidate for Pets Best "My Vet's the Best Contest"!
Thank You!

My Veterinarian is very kind and compasinate, When I had my first dog Cheerio she explained what our choice were to do for her. When we had to put her down she let us have our time with her before we did the procedure. Then a couple of days later we got a sympthany card from them. They are always there when we need them, now that we have Toby she understands that we have to put a muzzel on him when we bring him in for a visit. I've been with them for 14 years and I won't go to anyone else
