We couldn't do anything for him. He was choking. He was low to the floor and gasping for breath. Buster was just over 1 year old. We had taken him in as a stray kitten, who was still nursing, with his brother and mom. His vet, at the time, thought he had collapsing trachea and recommended raising the food and water dishes and said there's not much else to do and it usually gets worse. He couldn't breath well and when we brought him back to his vet for more help, because we were desperate watching him choke several times a day, they thought he might have lung worm. We struggled trying to give him medication for this multiple times a day. Then, after saving an injured cat and looking for a home for that cat because we had our hands full we found Dr. Don Factor and his staff. They were the only ones who would help us with this cat we needed a home for and who diagnosed Buster correctly. Bringing Buster's chest Xray from the other vet, who was much closer to us than Dr. Factor, the doctor was able to treat him well and was able to maintain Buster on an inhaler after initial oral meds. Dr. Factor said "it's always good when the patient's skin hasn't gone blue yet", trying to make the atmosphere lighter, but not kidding. If it weren't for Dr. Factor our Buster wouldn't be around to be our joy still.

Dr. Solomon is a very kind and patient veterinarian. He always takes his time with each of his pet patients and their owners. I have a dog who tends to be nervous when at the veterinarian but Dr Solomon as well as his staff have a wonderful way with Barkley and calms him down. The practice and is always freindly and prompt with returning calls for any concerns i may have with my dog. No matter how trivial a concern may be they always address in a professional manner. i have been with Dr. solomon for 5 years for my dogs care and have been thoroughly happy with his excellence and professional servicecs.

My dogs love him and when a dog likes to come to the vet he must be special. He listens to me and the dogs. Never rushes. He doesn't rush to diagnose and he always has a conversation about his treatment to make sure I makes sense to you. He is conservative in his treatment, doesn't rush to medicate and he readily available for his patients. We love Dr. Scarf.
