I visited Bond Vet Roslyn and saw Dr. Crystal Leung for my kitten’s check-up. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The cost structure was not transparent—charges added up quickly without clear communication. One major concern was the administration of the FeLV vaccine. I mentioned my kitten is mostly an indoor pet, with only occasional, supervised outdoor time and no exposure to other cats. Despite that, Dr. Leung vaccinated him without discussing that FeLV is typically considered optional for indoor cats. I would have appreciated a conversation around risks, necessity, and alternative options.
More troubling, my kitten developed ringworm shortly after the visit. Although he was physically examined during the appointment, there was no mention of any skin issues or concern raised about possible infection. This made me question the thoroughness of the exam and whether key signs were missed.
I left feeling that the clinic emphasized procedures over education. As a pet owner, I want to understand what's being recommended and why—not just be told after the fact. While the facility is clean and modern, and staff polite, the overall experience didn’t inspire confidence or trust. Given the high prices compared to other clinics in the region, I expected a higher level of care, communication, and insight. I hope they take this as constructive feedback to improve transparency and better engage with pet owners moving forward.
