Both Dr. Heiber and Dr. Fixman are knowledgeable, professional, and devoted to the animals in their care. Dr. Heiber has tended to my dogs for 40 years with good humor and kindness, while brimming with smarts. As she has settled into partial retirement, I have had the good fortune to entrust my dogs to Dr. Fixman who is so very devoted to her patients. She goes the extra mile to figure out the more complicated questions, and is pragmatic and reasonable in her response. They are both sensitive to the possible financial constraints of their clients and are thoughtful and thorough in their recommendations of treatment. The office staff is a delight. They are committed and thorough and usually of good cheer. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. They have saved my dogs from illness and trauma over the years, held my hand as I've had to bid them farewell, and have reminded me that we heal.
