My dog Robyn was diagnosed with cancer during a dental exam. We were recommended to Cornell by our local vet and it was truly a great decision to take her here. The staff and students all seemed so compassionate and caring for the animals they work with. They all had a pleasant demeanor, took time to explain all the issues and possible outcomes. And provided a quick and efficient process from start to finish. I felt very comfortable and confident that Robyn was getting the best quality care from the team at Cornell.

Everyone there from the telephone operator, receptionist, cashier, nutritionalist to ALL the doctors and students have all so friendly, caring and helpful. Everything is explained to you in detail. They take their time, do not rush you or your pet. You can tell they care about your pet by the way they talk, handle them. After every visit they either email, send by mail or both a discharge report telling everything that conspired in the visit you had with them. This way everything is also in writing! Someone is there to talk to 24/7 with questions, problems or whatever the situation with your pet might be. They return calls when needed to answer your question. Being Cornell Vet Hospital, all lab work, xrays, any procedure that is needed can be done there ASAP without having to wait for results or even make an appointment. If you need an appointment one can be made in a day's time and there is also 24/7 emergency service available. Everyone is fantastic there and they definetly care about your pet and how much they mean to you. They're always helpful, no matter what the situation! The best!

Dr. Kessler is so dedicated to her patients that she can be reached via email any time, day or night and within minutes a reply is received at no charge. She has been able to diagnose rare conditions that no other Veterinarian has ever even thought about, Lucy went for years with undiagnosed Cushing's disease despite being seen by numerous Veterinarians, then god sent me to Lucy's guardian angel, Dr. Kessler and she diagnosed the disorder and saved Lucy from the brinks of death numerous times. Her dedication goes way beyond what anyone would expect, I refer all my friends to her and they feel the same. She gives all her time to her patients and their owners without even thinking twice about it. Moreover, she spends countless hours on the phone guiding you through one crisis or another, without charge. She is certainly a special human being and a guardian angel to all the pets who are fortunate enough to end up under her care. We need more Veterinarians like Dr. Rebecca J. Kessler.
