Right before Thanksgiving my cat, Sawyer, swallowed an 8" piece of green Christmas curling ribbon and was immediately hospitalized to try to get the ribbon out without surgery. For two days the staff took my hourly phone calls willingly and (when the phone lines went down), each of the people working over the holiday weekend gave me their cell phone numbers so I could keep in touch! Sawyer was allowed to come home with me because the vets knew I would keep a close eye on him. On Thanksgiving Day, Dr. Harper called me to see how Sawyer was doing!! Not many vets would do that on a holiday!

Our dog JJ (5 year old Yorkie) has has many medical emergencies in his short life. The latest was urinary stones which had backed up to a life threatening state. Dr. Kelver stayed calm and reassuring as she systematically examined JJ and consulted with us to bring him into surgery ASAP. While we sat home worried, her frequent calls with information and updates helped us stay positive. Ultimately, her thorough surgical and overall veterinary knowledge proved to be successful, as JJ is healing well and will live on healthy!
