Dr. Hernandez was recommended by our friend, and we are so thankful for that. Dr. Hernandez is kind, caring, thorough with her diagnostic ability, and always communicates with the patients' caregivers. She follows up w/ regular phone calls, and takes great care of the pets. The veterinarians and staff there are all friendly and professional. We are happy to take our cats there for medical care!

Excellent vet care!! My dachshund Talia had a very painful gum and tooth fistula ,she was cared for quickly during these trying times of COVID ,care was fast efficient and done with love!

I have found my vet is the best because she is very caring and passionate and is very devoted to her profession. There were times that I brought my dog in for a minor thing and she wouldn't charge me. If I bring my gog in to have the nails clipped she will not charge me. You can tell that she has a true love for the animals and is a consumate professional with caring and understanding.

2 years ago my very first cat named Sam, that old cat that we rescued got sick while I was in Manila with my Mother. After several days in the Hospital and my instructions to please do everything to save him,it soon became cleared that he will not make it. I was so distraught and wanted to take the next plane back to NY to be with my husband and Sam. But this is the first time in 27 years that my 76 y/o Mother and my 3 brothers and their family will celebrate Christmas together in one place. Not only Dr. Hernandez spent almost 30 mins. On the phone explaining to me in details about Sam's condition, she spent more time reassuring me that "we all did everything for Sam and it's time to let go" without me feeling guilty that I wasn't there to comfort him. There is also a card from her and her staff waiting for me when I got home. I dealt with numerous Vets from Manila to NYC and I cannot find or compare anyone as caring and as dedicated to humans and animals alike like Dr. Hernandez. To my family and my children with paws, she is the best and we'll continue to patronize her amazing service.

Dr. Hernandez always went way out of her way to make my nervous dog comfortable. She started guarding me in her later years and growling. Other vets felt more comfortable muzzling her. Dr. Hernandez took extra time and care to avoid the muzzle. She'd get down on the floor with her and coo and use baby talk to soothe her through exams. It took extra time but she cared more about making sure my pup was at ease. We had to put her to sleep yesterday and Dr. H spent a lot of time helping usbe at peace with our decision. Advising against services that would make her money but would put our dog through unnecessary pain and low chance of success. We already knew it was time but there was that last second hesitation bc our pup was relatively young. She expressed how much she agreed with us and how this truly was in our pups best interest. She helped so much at such a difficult time. She puts patient care above all. We hope to go back to her when we eventually adopt again. Even if its out of our way.

Dr. Hernandez recently purchased the hospital where she has worked for many years. The owner/DVM was retiring.She added her personal touch with pretty decor & expanded services. She added ambulance/emergency services.Our English Mastiff developed bloat. She was at our house in 5 minutes along with two techs. A trauma protocol was put into effect. Doyle received incredible, wonderful care. He was unable to walk and by the evening, stomach evacuation and lots of fluid, Doyle with two IVS was standing & wagging his tail, happy to see us.Unfortunately, while he remained hospitalized, Doyle took a turn for the worst & past away. Doyle was 9 years old. He would have died out in our yard that day. He got the best, fastest care. He felt better and was made comfortable. We got to see him that way.We have known Dr Hernandez since she joined Bellrose Animal Hospital. She is an amazing person, a kind, sweet lady and the only vet we would go to. I could go on & on about her but I would run out of remaining words. Dr Hernandez is a a remarkable, dynamic, innovative vet with a beatific soul. You have to meet her.
