l almost never write a bad review, if something doesn't work out, I just don't write anything, life is hard , people are trying to get by and stuff happens.
THIS needed to be told to warn everyone that loves their (fur) babies.
My beautiful baby is now gone
Its a huge heads up.
I've done animal rescue throughout my life. I went to Louisiana after Katrina to do animal rescue and stayed for months. Ive used Denise Durnin for years. Unfortunately, sometimes you don't know how a dr. is until there's an emergency.
SHE IS THE WORST. VET EVER.
There is NO getting in touch with her, even while shes IN THE MIDDLE of treating your sick baby.
If there was some reason she didn't want to treat my cats she could've had the HUMAN DECENCY to let me know...text, call, anything. I called and texted SO MANY times BEGGING her and telling her I'd pay anything..
Ive always paid on time and have spent some money over the years.
She was the so called "referring vet" for a thyroid procedure he needed, she knew he had an ear infection before he went in and said she'd be back to take care of it after his procedure. I called the day he got home so he wouldn't have to suffer. She told me that I could come pick up oral antibiotics. I asked if she knew what the infection was ( viral or bacterial so she'dknow how to treat him). She told me she didn't know. i asked why she didn't check that when she came to do bloodwork b 4 his surgery and she actually said "because they were only there to take blood". So she knew he had an infection but didn't do anything about it because that wasn't why she was there. I guess of I go in for a head cold and my dr.sees cancer,, he shouldn't do anything about it because thats not why I was there.. I started to call other vets and no one wanted to help him because she was the so called "referring vet" no matter how much I begged. It just got worse,, he was walking sideways and just so sick.. I finally found doctor a to help after 3 weeks . He was in so much pain and had trouble getting better because it got so bad and took so long. I am so angry. I am going to write a complaint.
Her bedside manner always su**ed but I didn't care, as long as she took good care of my cats. I have cancer and they are my best friends.
I had to put my love down because it was just too much for him. He tried to sleep in his litter box to get away and I couldn't let him be in such pain anymore.
She is are NOT an animal lover. I hope she never has to feel helpless for someone she loves because others just didnt care.
