Our chocolate Lab, Bosco came to us at 7 years old and in need of getting his digestive tract back on course after his former owners fed him hot dogs and bologna every day. We went to Glen Roiland because he was Bosco's vet his whole life and knew Bosco's history. One month after coming to us he tore his ACL in his hind left knee. Dr. Roiland knew we had been coming in frequently and were running out of money, but he also knew we wanted to do what was in Bosco's best interest. Dr. Roiland performed a miracle! He took a ligament from Bosco's thigh and used it as his new ACL! It saved us a lot of money and Bosco was playing fetch again in no time! Bosco is almost 11 now. He recently had trouble breathing. Dr. Roiland asked to send his films out to an expert because they were a little hazy and hard to read. We just didn't have the money. We prepared for the worst. We cried a lot that day thinking it was a tumor pressing against his heart. Dr. Roiland called that evening. He got the 2nd opinion anyway because he cares so much. It was only Bronchitis! His voice trembled with relief and we cried with happiness. No one else has ever cared for our dog as much as us - except Glen Roiland. In our small world - he's our hero. We feel he should be honored as such.

My husband and I were at the crossroad with our sick yellow lab,Buddy two years ago. He was in pain and we had to make the decision of when to put Buddy to sleep. Dr Roiland , in his extremely caring manner, gave us our options but did not tell us what to do. We decided to put Buddy to sleep and Dr Roiland treated us and our dog like we were family. He made a difficult situation easier and has been treating our new dog, Ariel for the last 4 years. We love our Vet and recommend him to all our friends!

In all the years I have owned dogs, Dr. Roiland is the first veterinarian I have met that truly understands just how much a pet is a member of the family. When we enter his office we feel like we are the only appointment he has because he never rushes. He answers every question and addresses every concern with an unwavering patience. He genuinely cares and it shows in all he does. Now that our family has found Dr. Roiland, we couldn't imagine going to another doctor. In essence, Dr. Roiland has become family.

Growler and his brother got into a fight back in December 2010. Where Growler's brother ripped his bridge of his nose. We took right away to Dr. Roiland and he told us he's was going to need stitches. Then two Weeks later the got into a fight again cause Growler jumped the door to be with his brother and the other two dogs. This time Dr. Roiland couldn't stitch his nose!! Dr. Roiland gave a home remedy to try and see if that will heal his nose. Thank God it worked otherwise Growler would have be put to sleep! Now Angel aka "the escape artist" got out the yard. When she came home part of her tail was ripped down passed the skin. Again right away we took to Dr. Roiland. He looked at it and then wrapped it right away. He told us if she goes to the bathroom on her on then it worth doing the surgery to amputate the tail. Well he did ot and it was the most difficult amputation he's ever done!! She is know as the miracle dog to the office!! That's why Dr. Roiland deserves this!! if she goes to thd bathroom on her on
