Dr. Pokorny is the best because our cat Onyx was having respiratory issues on Sunday night (New Year's Eve). Of course we were unable to get to see her, so we went to an emergency hospital. There we stayed for 12+ hours before we were called into a room to sit for 2 more hours. Onyx was finally seen sometime around 3:00 a.m. They allowed me to leave at 1:15 a.m. He had fluid and a mass on his lungs. They did a biopsy of the mass. I paid a fortune. I could have had my cat euthanized which was a suggestion. I told them "No"! I would get a second opinion from my own vet on Tuesday. I'm so glad I waited. Dr. Pokorny explained everything to me. The procedure they preformed and how long Onyx may live. She took the time to show me how to administer his medication. She cut his nails because Onyx would scratch me. She gave Onyx medication to help stimulate his appetite. Thank you, Dr. Pokorny! Onyx is alive and happy.
