I have to say I am so disappointed in the word Hospital in their name, my dog fell down the steps and hurt her back legs, it was 7:45 pm and I called my Vet who told me to take her to the Animal Hospital, now we all know Hospital means emergency correct, well I did that and walked in and I know there are people who are there with their pets for office visits and I am ok with that but I told the girl behind the desk who looked really confused or didn't know what "pain" means for an animal, I told her my dog fell down the steps and was in a great deal of pain, her response was do you have an appointment, I said excuse me its an emergency I picked the dog up off the floor and brought her right in like my Vet told me too. She said "I have to check with the doctor" wrong answer again, IT"S A HOSPITAL, I waited and 3 people went in before me for regular visits, than a person came in with a cat who had an emergency and went ahead of us again, I got so frustrated that I picked my dog up and went to the counter and said you should be ashamed to call this a HOSPITAL and walked out and left, DO NOT GO THERE FRONT DESK GIRLS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND SIT AND TALK ABOUT YOU AND GOSSIP INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF ANYONE, NOT PASSIONATE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS!!!

When we brought Charley to Dr. Donzil, it was to get a second opinion to a diagnosis from another vet that just didn't seem to tell the whole story. We were told his lethargy and lack of appetite was due to back pain. Upon seeing him, she asked all the right questions and could tell there was something else going on besides back pain. She did bloodwork right then and there and thank god she did - turns out Charley had a serious health condition called AIHA where his immune system was attacking his own red blood cells, which if left untreated, can be deadly. She immediately put him on a regiment of medications that saved his life and saw us every two weeks to monitor his levels. Less than 6 months later, our little buddy is back up to normal blood count levels and can be found running up the stairs and playing with his favorite toys. I am so grateful to Dr. Donzil for providing the medical attention he needed and I swear, everytime he sees her, he smiles from ear to ear. I think he knows that she saved his life.
