Dr. Sepulveda always gives my animals love and affection even during their regular exams. It came time for my oldest dog, Bernie's senior visit and he strongly suggested a senior blood test. I normally do not do tests unless there is a reason. When we got the results it showed that his liver enzymes were elevated. After treating him for inflammation in his liver with medication he did not respond and his enzyme count went higher. He then did a sonogram and found a huge mass in his liver. He recommended going to a specialist for a surgical consult. After removing the mass which ended up to be the size of a cantaloupe and it was malignant the prognosis is good. If it wasn't for Dr. Sepulveda strongly suggesting the senior blood test we would have never known about the mass and Bernie might not be with us now.
