I brought my dog to Dr Wurst in distress and non responsive. He determined her blood sugar was extremely low (17) and she was in hypoglycemic shock. He started therapy and we went from preparing to euthanize a pet to bringing one home with a care plan. He saved my dog’s life!

We have been going to Dr. Behan for over 15 years. He is the best vet hands down in this area. Not only does he provide excellent care, he thinks outside the box when necessary and never puts our animals through tests or procedures unless absolutely necessary. We have had three Rottweilers, a Chihuahua and numerous cats over the years and he knows all of our animals and keeps them healthy and happy. We recently lost our last (Gemma) to Lymphoma and Dr. B kept her going for almost 22 weeks after the diagnosis with chemo and what we call "Mad Scientist" ways to keep the disease at bay. Gemma also had diabetes, went through blindness then cataract removal, then cancer...but she was the happiest dog until her last days and we credit Dr. B and his Team for keeping her that way for so long. He cares about our pets like they are his own. There is no vet like Dr. B in this area.

Every single Dr. that works at this clinic is outstanding! I started using this clinic 25+ yeras ago. They are caring, fairly priced, always has the needs of the pet foremost in their mind. I had a dog with inoperable cancer, they helped me make him comfortable until we could no longer control the pain, they held our hands through the whole year long dog hospice experience, from diagnosis to euthanasia in the most caring way possible. I always know my animals are in good hands here, always have been.

he never never turns anyone away the poor and indigent and rescues. he helps everyone most of the vets in our area do not offer a payment plan he is the only one that does

I took my dog Bee in because he wasn't feeling well. Dr. Carrol took a look at bee and told me he needs to stay over night with fluids. I called all day and at night Dr. Carrol called me and told me that Bee was holding his own and we should see how he does in the morning. Morning came and I was ready to call to see how Bee was doing. I picked up the phone to call when the phone rang and it was the Dr. Bee didn't make it through the night. I went to the vets office and I viewed Bee. He looked quite pieceful in his passing. I cried and the Dr. cried with me. I petted my Bee and told him that I loved him and missed him. The vet was beside me and he took a liking to Bee. He is a great dog. He vet was very accomindating. He treated my dog like his own dog. Not every vet is very kind and loving as Dr. Carrol. Everybody in the clinic was great and very compassionate. I can't say enough good things about them. They were all great. They were all compassionate and caring. Great people.

After moving, we tried numerous vets before deciding on Beaver Animal Clinic. Dr. Kosturek and Dr. Knueven were amazing one of our American Pit Bull Terriers had an obstruction that had been misdiagnosed by 2 previous vets and a specialist. He had started out at 80 lbs. and was down to 42 lbs. by the time we went to Beaver Animal Clinic. We went there for a specific procedure they offered, and not only did they fit us in right away for an appointment, but they recommended a less expensive, more effective procedure for Juma than the one we were inquiring about. From the start, it's been clear that they care about and treat our dogs like they are their own pets. There are 5 or 6 vets closer to us, but we drive almost 15 miles to take our pets to Dr. Kosturek and Dr. Knueven. My husband and I don't have kids our dogs are our 'kids' and we don't trust them to just anyone. Dr. Kosturek and Dr. Knueven have always taken care of our dogs and we will continue to take Aluna, Juma, Loki, Achilles, and any other pets we have to them.

Barnegat animal hospital clinic is the best hands down! The staff is very friendly and understanding of my dogs shyness. They are very proficient and helpful. Dr Behan is soooo gentle. He gets down to the dogs level and shows such love for animals. He's extremely friendly and full of smiles. Jax loves going to the vet and smiles at dr. Behan...yes smiles!! I feel safe and confident leaving jaxs health in their hands. Dr. Behan is also very considerate billing wise and understands expenses. I really hope they win and dr. Behan gets the acknowledgment he deserves.
