Lisa Godfrey is the most caring, hard-working, shoot from the hip vet I've ever known in my life, and as a rescue, I've known a lot of them. She has a sincerity you don't see often in this field any more. She is always available to offer advice, make suggestions, and goes WAY above and beyond for both the client and the animals she is caring for. I don't know one person who doesn't absolutely adore her. She also has a wonderful sense of humor, and knows just what to say and when to say it if you're struggling with something. She's very supportive of rescue and everything it entails, and always goes the extra mile to ensure our pups are getting the best care and enjoying the very best quality of life possible. She makes our job easier, and is a breath of fresh air in what can often be a very emotionally draining field.
