Dr Hennessy is so caring and kind with our Annie Mae.
She was very professional and thorough as well. I initially thought Annie had another stone with the amount of blood she passed. Thankfully that was not the case this time and grateful we saw the right veterinarian to handle our situation in the best way possible. Annie did stay overnight for an IV and was released the next day with a new food prescription and medication to bring her back to her precious self and prevent future reoccurrence.
It is a Blessing to have good vets anytime and especially in emergency situations. We whole heartedly recommend Dr Hennessy for your fur babies ♥️

Dr. Scott is thorough, persistent, calls you personally to discuss the issue, encouraging in those hard times and difficult decisions. He really cares about the health of the animal. He's loving and caring. I like him very much. One of a kind Doctor.!!

Dr. Rich has seen our dogs, cats, guinea pig, and rats. She is amazing with all of them, showing the same compassion, professionalism,skill, and understanding ( including with us when needed) with each visit. The animals adore her, as they feel how much she loves and respects each and every one, from the largest to the tiniest! She always loved how our rat would ride on her shoulders and hide in her pockets. She is a very special person and one of a kind! Thank you!

Last year I recieved the call no mommy wants to get. My chinese crested was hit by a truck and trailer. He was taken to our local vet and they gave me two options. Euthanasia or sending him to Dr. Mayfield 45 minutes away. I looked down at the lifeless, bloody body of the angel I had come to love unconditionally and knew that euthanasia was not an option. He some how made the 45 mile drive with shallow respirations and obvious blood in the lungs. Unable to see his surroundings I ran into Animal Medical Center where Dr. Mayfield met me with immediate action. My babies lifeless body layed on the table as I cried histerically. Dr. Mayfield had D'Ville checked up in down within seconds. He never spoke a word of negativity. He was positive the entire time while encouraging me to stay hopeful. He took my hands and prayed with me for peace. He sat and comforted me after my baby was scanned from head to toe numerous times. He always remained calm and positive. I left that night and woke up to a text message with a picture of D'Ville. Dr Mayfield called me that morning to say he had sustained a massive head injury, a collapsed lung, severed tendons in both legs, severe heart trauma and almost 50 percent of his body was road rash. 6 days later he came home with his me. Dr Mayfield calls Dville a miracle. I call him one.

Nancy (along with the outstanding staff) goes beyond what many consider as just a VET....when she walks, our Buster gets all excited and she gets on the floor to play with him, putting him at ease...not only does she spend the time to discuss issues, but goes out of her way to explains in simple terms. She has called us at 9:30 at night to followup on concerns. Not only the best vet in Ohio, but has the love, patience and understanding of a Saint!! Also will explain ways to save $$$, which is rare.. If an RX is needed, they even match "online pricing" so more concerned about the animals health than profit!! Great Lady....and outstanding staff!!
