I highly recommend Dr. Swift and her staff at Ottawa Animal Hospital! She has extensive knowledge to treat physical and behavioral issues and is willing to consider what is best for each pet, including natural remedies. She has been our primary vet for two dogs with special needs. I especially appreciated her help through the spay surgery of our dog Trixie who suffers from separation and confinement anxiety. We worked out a plan where I could be with Trixie as she was sedated and then woke up. Since Dr. Swift did not think a cone would be best for Trixie, we worked out additional plans for low-dose medication and other ways to keep her from high activity and jumping. I am so thankful for her insights and desire to see each dog thrive.
