Dr. Luedke kind of just fell into our lap, and what a blessing she has been. Kind, compassionate, and giving doesn't even start to describe her. The way she cares for the animals she takes care of makes it so obvious that she is in the right profession. She does it for the love of the animal, and not for the financial gain as evidenced by her very reasonable prices. She works long hours without complaint, and even being close to retirement, it doesn't stop her from getting up and down off the floor to take care of her patients. I could go on and on about her but I will tell you, not only has she saved my sweet boy's life, but when he needed care at a higher level, $15,000 to be exact, she knew we were struggling and donated money out of her own pocket to help towards his bill. Here again, she has been presented with the challenge of trying to save my boy, and the way she approaches the difficult choices we have to make is very appreciated. She is direct but with a bedside manner that just makes you love her even more. She is the best example of what it means to love what you do and who you do it for.
