Dr. Burke is amazing. When I moved from California I was really worried I wouldn't find a vet as great as the one in CA. I went to another place and it was so so. I decided to try Little Friends of Ferndale due to all the good reviews. My cat loves Dr. Burke and I know he is in good hands if he feels comfortable with the vet. She has never steered us in the wrong direction. My cat has chronic pancreatitis and is 11 years old. He has really bad flare ups and can get really sick. Dr. Burke has always returned calls and fit us in asap. I can tell she really cares. I'm so glad I found Dr. Burke!

When a 2 month old kitten I was catsitting was diagnosed with giardia the day before Thanksgiving, his vet wouldn't treat him without seeing him and wouldn't see him for a week. I called up my vet, Dr. Helgoth, and he prepared the treatment the kitten needed and rushed him in give him an exam that Wednesday afternoon. Fiyero never did return home... or go back to his old vet. Dr. Helgoth has been monitoring his progress (he's had a whole host of health issues besides the giardia) and is helping me with any questions I have, no matter the day or time. I seem to recall a frantic, New Year's Eve email he answered within minutes...Simply put, Dr. Helgoth always takes the time and effort to answer my questions and address my concerns without ever making me feel like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. The cats all like him (as much as they can like a vet), and he is very good with soothing their anxiety.
