Dr. Holbrook takes time with each dog and adjusts to their quirks/fears/sensitive spots, etc. He doesn't rush into expensive tests and Rx, but takes time to really examine, question and find the best solution for both pet & owner. Best example was when my dog, Shema, was having intermittent pain that would make her cry out, but we couldn't determine what was wrong. He didn't jump into Xrays, but took time feeling around and moving her slowly in different directions and angles until he determined it was a pinched nerve in her neck. We were given some steroids for her and she was back to her old self that evening. It was such a relief! He has a great staff of people that really love animals and are super friendly and professional. He is willing to share his knowledge of proper pet care and even taught an adult ed class in pet 1st aid which came in handy when my dog, Tawny cut her foot the very next day. I could walk to a vet nearby, but instead, I drive almost 30 minutes to GBAC because the care is so excellent.
