Dr. Matteson is one of the most caring vets I have ever used. She takes her time and thoroughly evaluates each pet and actively listens to their human. She provides options and involves everyone in any decision making process, providing recommendations, but does not dictate. Veterinary care is expensive and Dr. Matteson is very judicious about suggesting tests or therapies. She really pays attention to the cost vs. benefit equation and explains what she is thinking. Dr. Matteson is also very respectful of her client's time. If she is running late, someone comes out to say why and often they will work with you to meet your schedule. When she says that she will get back to you--she does. Dr. Matteson has always been very gentle and kind with my fur babies and is a lovely, intelligent, woman.
