The entire staff of this ER is kind, helpful, organized, caring, etc. Every single interaction has left me with a good impression, even though we are sometimes discussing difficult information about our pets' health. No one forgets anything, no misplaces anything, no one seems distracted, no one is ever short with you, and even though they are busy, discussions never feel rushed. I cannot stress how rare this is at any vet, (any business) especially at a busy ER. I also cannot stress how important and comforting this is when you're terrified and sad, and trying to navigate what is going on with your sick pet. It doesn't seem like an accident or a coincidence - it seems like they prioritize hiring and training their staff to be kind and human.

Dr. Neravanda takes his time to be sure that your pet's condition is explained in understandable terms. He actively listens and solicits questions. At this visit he went out of his way to explain how to use GoodRX by demonstrating on his computer to make sure that we could buy medications at the lowest price. He gave very clear suggestions about where we go from here and by the time I arrived home, I had a visit summary with the radiology report in my email. The office staff is very caring. (Just a bit of a warning: Since this is also an 24hr emergency vet, if an emergency comes in, your appointment might be pushed back, but the staff will keep you informed.) I found it really wonderful that the staff took my dog for a walk to allow him to relieve himself, rather than just leave me to do it, before they turned him back over to me for the car ride home. I also listened to staff take their time to explain that although they can do routine care for a new pet, that it would be less expensive to use a primary care vet as Dogs & Cats prices are higher. They provided the potential customer a printout of the local vets and made suggestions about which practices might see the pet today. I thought that was really nice. The office staff always talks about the cost before performing any procedure. Very reputable in my book.

They were so great with my boy, who is terrified of the vet. They went over the cost of everything up front, and I never felt that I was being pressured into a particular test or treatment. When it’s crazy early and you’ve been up all night with a sick pup, simple and efficient is what you need. I do wish they were a regular vet facility so I could switch over, but oh well.
