Angell Animal Medical Center provides thorough and dedicated care. We've had some very worrisome moments with Finn's health but always know he is in the best hands there.

Dr. Cray performed surgery to remove a soft tissue sarcoma on the leg of my Maltese. Her and her staff did an amazing job. My Lolly is doing remarkably well so far. Angell is the best!!!

Our dog gets frightened at the vet and can become uncooperative. The doctor and the staff at the MSPCA do not judge. They accept our dog for who she is and works with the situation. The doctor offered strategies for making our dog more comfortable for future visits. We appreciated that the focus was on our dog and how we can help her.

Dr. Ratnofsky is very detail oriented and warm-- AL just loves her and she skillfully can navigate around his many attempts to face kiss while he is examined.
AL gets a little nervous/shy for his physical which puts his lick-er in high gear. Dr. Ratnofsky is patient and gives him lots of love which quickly puts him at ease and gives her access for a very thorough exam. I appreciate that Dr. Ratnofsky asks at least twice if all concerns/questions have been addressed before the appt is over since it is easy to forget things when in office.
I feel so confident in Dr. Ratnofsky and her team's abilities. Despite often juggling emergencies on top of regular appointments they are so diligent. Thank you!!

Dr Shawn Kearns picked up on the treatment of our 12 yo Iggy when every else wouldn’t or was outrageously priced. He had become sick W/IMHA. She was meticulously academic with our angel yet creative in her thinking of treatment too. She actually LISTENED TO ANY AND EVERYTHING my husband and I read about the disease in our despair to keep him alive. She was kind, patient, knowledgable, humorous, available,
And w/an asst and technians just like her. They kept him alive for about 3.5 years. In the end Dr.Kearns was all those things I just talked about. And, gave us top support and knowledge about putting him down.

Joel speaks to Snoopy like a pediatrician speaks to a baby-with a sweet and gentle voice and soft touch. When he administered her last rabies shot, he said, "this is going to pinch just a bit sweety" and "good girl, that wasn't so bad, was it" when he was done. So kind and thoughtful. He is a terrific vet and I nominate Joel for this recognition.

Manny was attacked by my roommate's dog. Manny arrived in shock, with fractured ribs, luxated collarbone, and multiple soft tissue traumas. Manny's BP was terribly low at first, and for some time he stopped producing urine. Dr. Finn was always honest with me, but believed in Manny. She was available by phone early in the morning, late at night, and every time in between. She arranged visiting hours for me outside the norm, and spent great amounts of time giving him love when I couldn't be there. She triumphantly called me to say he had nipped at her, and was so happy as she knew he must be feeling better. She called me so excitedly the day he went to the cat play room and walked around, as only days before we thought he might lose a hind leg. The last challenge before Manny could go home was to get him eating on his own so we could pull his feeding tube. Dr. Finn arranged a late visit for us in the cat play room, and sat on the floor with me as he walked around, head butting me, but not taking any food. Finally, he ate his favorite treats out of my hand, and both Dr. Finn and I cried, because this meant Manny could come home. Manny wakes me every day by patting my face, and every day I am so thankful to Dr. Finn.
