I have known Dr. Placer since she was a little girl and have watched her blossom into the humble and generous woman and Doctor she is today. My 5-star recommendation of her is not because of this but in spite of it. We had Vet for over 50 years who sadly passed away recently. I made the conscious decision to see Dr. Placer because I knew she would be the best Doctor for my babies needs. Dr. Placer leads with her heart and knowledge as did our former Doctor and I knew she would work hard to find the correct solutions to our medical needs with intelligence and compassion. She loves all animals and people which shines thru her work. She also will consult with the other physicians when needed to find the right answer for my babies. I could not be more impressed with the woman she has become and professionally the Doctor she is today. Dr. Placer has practiced in other states but made a choice to come back to her home state and offer her talents to the community. Her integrity and commitment. to the patients in her care is admirable and we look forward to continuing to trust her in administering care to our precious babies.

At 2 am when one of my rescued Giant Schnauzers bit the other one, Dr. Neel was calm, kind and patient with Rosie. Since I did rescue she did not even charge me for the visit.

No matter how busy this vet is, he takes all the time is necessary to make his patients feel comfortable with the treatment there pet is receiving. I had gotten a Doberman pup but after a few weeks I had become uncomfortable with it. He personally put the pup on a plane to a new owner for me and is now taking care of my other new dogs for me. He goes the extra mile to help people out!!
