I purchased a Mokie at 12 weeks old not knowing that he had just been exposed to the deadly parvo disease. Within 4 days he was deathly sick. I brought him in to Dr Alicia and she told me the hard facts. Not many pups survive. I just couldn't put him down. I wanted to try to save him. I had just 9 months before put fown my 14 yr old Bishcon. I was leaving town for a wedding and left my baby in her hands. But before i flew out she called me and said he wasnt doing well. She suggested one last thing to try. A prescription for humans for the flu that maybe just maybe could work. On my way out of town I purchased thr RX she prescibed and made one last visit to Bear, my baby. It was so hard to leave but i had to. That was Thursday night. On Sunday Dr Alicia called me. I was fearing the news was going to be bad. Instead she said "Do you hear the dog barking in the background?" " Thats your baby!" I cried with tears of joy. Dr. Alicia SAVED him! He's 7 years old now and the joy of my life!
